He questioned her coldly, taking another sip of Vodka.
"Do you know why . . . I am the way I am"

"Well...not really...but I'd be willing to learn if you'd be willing to teach me Ivan-san"
She blushed and smiled up at him.
"To be honest, I've never really tried to learn about any one because I've never cared, but I do care about you Ivan" She blushed and smiled big. |

Coldly took another sip of Vodka.
"I've been through a lot . . . famine . . . genocide . . . betrayal . . . and murder"
Ivan looked into Claire's eyes painfully, "I've been the victim of many deaths . . . and I've been the proprietor of many, I've almost killed my sister through starvation, and Ive been the victim of such tragedy. . . I am the greatest country . . . and also the loneliest."
Ivan sighed as the vodka bottle hit his lips, the bottle was about the only thing he could feel nowadays.

Claire looked rather sad now. "I-I didn't know..." She looked down and twiddled her thumbs as she listened to him talk. "W-well you know you don't have to be all alone! right? You still have the allies! and myself of course~!" She smiled big and kissed his cheek with a giggle.
"Let's talk about something happier Ivan! Like...hmmm...casinos! Have you ever been to one before? I own one all by myself! But I guess my daddy bought it for me...but still! There's lots of things to do and the girls that come to play poker or slots always have on really pretty dresses!"
She tried to make him happier but saw it was failing and frowned and looked down. "I'm sorry.." She said, rubbing her eyes. The small country didn't want to seem week by crying infrount of someone she had adored so much. |
