{name:Eclair#|#picture:19} (you can rename it, i'm just stupid XDDDD)
A lot of years had passed since that last quarell with France, now Eclair was much older and mature. No longer a stupid little 15 year old girl. She had cut her hair so it barely touched her shoulders and wore one bow on the side of her head. She now usually wore a millitary uniform and assited France in fighting when needed.
She hadn't been much help lately though. She just sat on the shore like she did when she was little. The small nation had turned 19 not too long ago. She smiled and picked up a small flower, picking the petals like a small child would. Madagascar lied back on the sand and slowly fell asleep.

{name:Francis "France" Bonnefoy#|#picture:5}(Apparently Madagascar has had some crazy shit go down. Check it out -> [X] I say we RP it.) The social unrest had reached him. Even from far away, he swore from his window he could just see the plumes of smoke and protest rise from every window of every building he passed. Even working in the winery had not remedied his aching conscience.
She is a country, he whispered to himself in the night hours, sipping Cabaret peacefully underneath the blanket of the Milky Way, and she must be strong in her own right.
He had to disconnect, he knew, from the unrest of his former colonies. If he didn't, he'd be no better than England, crying over his whiskey about his lost child wandering around the streets of New York unaided. But honestly, Alfred had quite a bit more promise and strength than a little girl he hadn't seen in... 8 years now?
The feelings haunted him. His intelligence would relay the news, and as much as he told himself that it would be useless to hear such horrible reports, he still quietly allowed for them to keep ending up on his desk.
It had been a morning in early spring that he finally made the decision to go. He wouldn't intervene. It was for Eclair. A council with him.. it wouldn't be such a bad thing. He didn't have to involve his military or his resources entirely... surely, she must have knowledge of the president's location so he could simply sort out this mess.
Getting transportation there in this time of rioting was difficult. He had to have a military escort by helicopter, no less. When he landed, he was ushered through crossfire into a refugee area.
A private encampment for the military, tents and barricades and dying citizens. It was as bad as he assumed it would be, if not worse.
Then, like a blaring light of day he suddenly realized he remembered this beach. The memories began to flood him and he felt his heart sink. Why this beach, of all beaches?
And there she was, as clear as day and as somber, her lengthy, more mature frame had become silhouetted on the shoreline of this coast. Her hair was shorter now, but still brown and flowing over the graceful curves of her shoulders, slipping over them in tresses like warm chocolate.
His feet, steady against the ground, and the guilt rose up in him like vomit again. This tightness in his stomach was wrenching him and he could no longer feel anything but his regret for not being here sooner. It was because of him that she had to grow up so fast, no doubt.
However, he leveled with himself. He was here now.
Walking reluctantly forward, he joined her side, looking as stoic and militaristic minded as the rest of her stationed troops.
"Bonjour."
He said simply, find himself at a loss for words. He averted his eyes from her expression, not wanting to see the lingering sadness of war in his one of his precious children.

(Okay.
So basically, Madagascar is a republic and therefore they have presidential elections. In an election a few years ago, this guy Ravalomanana became the new president. Ravalomanana basically got to run for 2 terms, IE. he got re-elected but everyone thinks the election was rigged cus this guy taxed the crap out of his people.
This new guy, speaking up for the rights of the people, Rajoelina tried to run for office. They are super similar, had similar campaign strategies and by this point everyone liked Rajoelina better than Ravalomanana.
Basically, they had a media war. They started openly attacking one another and doing things to hurt the other's reputation. For example, the current president (Ravalomanana) got TV stations that disagreed with him taken off-air. One of thosewas Rajoelina's.
Rajoelina got pissed and told him he better open back up his station or else. He threatened to have a national strike against Ravalo if he didn't. Well Ravalo is a pompous dick so he didn't and thus a national strike went about and there was a huge, HUGE riot that ended up with TONS of property destroyed, lots of fires, looting, injuries...etc.
Most radios and TV stations got shut down for broadcasting it, too.
In the midst of this riot, the president up and disappeared. The police force was called to follow him, although some local militia's stayed to try and keep the peace.
At that time in Madagascar, the riot was still going on, but not as intensely. There were no police to stop anyone from stealing, robbing or destroying anything so it was a huge mess.
I can tell you what happens but it might be more exciting to RP it~)

{name:Eclair#|#picture:19} (yay~!! lol!! XDDD thank you so much |D" )
She sat up, hugging her knees and stared at the ocean before her.
"Hi."
She said nothing more and didn't even bother to look up at him. She seemed so cold now...not caring of anything or anyone...it was most likely war that made her like this, but she didn't blame it on anyone.
She didn't know if she wanted to see him now or not, but either way she didn't look at him. She made a promise to herself that she wouldn't look at him until he had his back turned to her and decided to walk away.
Nothing would ever happen between the two of them anyway. Hopeless fantasies were all she had to keep her barely sane in this time of madness that had come over her and her people.
She wondered what he would think about her decision, although she'd never tell.
She stood up and walked towards her home with him following behind her. Eclair took him inside.
